Will you still be a Christian if you accept some of the bible and reject some ?

You have to realize that the bible was not written by God Himself. It was written by humans. Humans who felt that they had to add, edit and/or omit things as they saw fit. You are actually an even better Christian just for picking up on that. You see when the bible was put together it was at a time when people needed to control other people which is easy to do when you put fear into them so ofcourse a lot of doesn't make any sense yet some things do. They added what they wanted, left some stuff and deleted the rest. Its perfectly normal to question that. The way I see, you take what feels right to you and leave the rest.
