LGBT: They say everyone will come around if you give them time? Agree or disagree?

I'm talking about when it comes to phobic relatives. Do you think that it's possible that a phobic relative could change their views on this subject just because they're related to gay people, such as yourself (Like they've been exposed to the reality)?! Ya know let go of their ignorance, be educated; let go of the hate, intolerance, bias, bigotry, judgement, etcetera?! Learn to love unconditionally, be open-minded, be smart... I was watching this feminine and her mom, on youtube, preaching that for ten minutes, the other day.With my family, those who know I'm gay still have their relgious ideas, but claim to love and accept me no matter what. I would love it if my relatives would go Prayers for Bobby on my azz instead though.
