Do Catholics have the truth?

They usurped the ets (buildings and jewelry and land etc.)of the Roman Empire. Broke up peaceful pagan communities: burning libraries and seperating children from their local customs and have aculated alot of ets in America because of religions tax free status. They are the biggest landowners in the the world, right? If they are the vessels of Christ shouldn't they like, give up their worldly ets? Don't get me wrong, there are alot of positive activities that Catholics are involved in, but wouldn't it be a strong statement if they sold their ets and gave it to Habitat for Humanity and groups like that?
