Cartilage Ear Piercing experience?

It hurts but not too bad. Cartilage takes longer to heal.. usually around 6 months. Do not regret it at all. Left ear because I am right handed and use my right ear to talk on the phone, sleep. etc. Needle, not gun. It is worth the pain, my opinion.
