Am I royally screwed because of this?

I had ACL reconstruction surgery back in 2006. My knee is 100% normal. My recruiter sent the med docs to MEPS last Monday,and it has been over a week. My recruiter told me I would be fine and that MEPS should approve my med docs and let me enlist. He says stuff like "when you get into the navy.......". Also when i talk to him and ask him about it, he says meps is still reviewing it youll be fine. We've also made a trip to meps to take the asvab. Is this a good sign to tell if Im gonna be able to enlist, or is he just sugarcoating this stuff and not trying to hurt my feelings? He contacts me every once in awhile, but it seems like i am the one calling him. Is this a bad sign?
