I would like your opinion on a situation with my brother.....?

Your brother should be watching his own child... not you. Make him 'step up to the plate' & take responsibility. Your parents are very much keeping their grandchild's well being in mind to be doing something this unheard of! Wow, God bless them. But I do see where you are coming from. Since you don't need the $ then I would have your brother spend time with his child since he has plenty of time on his hands. He just cannot be a 'deadbeat'. Get on with your life & enjoy your inheritence. Good luck!
